FOR WE WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT

I feel that I have no compassion. This bothers me sometimes. I have understanding when the ladies come and want prayer, but am I suppose to be so cut & dry? What should I pray for? What should I study? Why do I feel this way? I think to myself, these ladies need to understand that they CAN do ALL things ONLY through Christ. That they DO have the weapons they need to overcome any situation! But they always come back with the same problems, the same issues. I just feel there is not time for this. They need to get it together. They cannot depend on other peoples prayers. This is where I feel no compassion. Am I wrong? Can someone give me some advise?

I believe that if you have the Love of Christ in you and his love is poured into our hearts (Rom. 5:5), we have compassion. The problem is that we sometimes become frustrated with people because seems like they don’t get it, or receive it, believe it, or get free from it, and “it” is whatever there needs are. Jesus wanted rest from ministry at times but people still followed him wherever he went for deliverance. Yet the Bible tells us not to be weary in well doing so we’ll continue to do our part until we have a release that we have done all we can. My prayer is that God will open the eyes of the blind and that they will receive the engrafted word which is able to save their soul, and lastly that the truth that was spoken in love would set them free. That’s all I can do the rest is up to God. Study Romans 12:2; Proverbs 23.7, and Ephesians 4: 23-24; which talks about renewing the mind and changing our attitudes. Until a person change the way he or she thinks they will never change how they feel or act.

The 3 scriptures you gave to me to study have come to me Sat, Sun & today. My friend shared with me these scriptures on Sat, my Pastor talked about them on Sun and you today. I will go into a deeper study. It must time for me to go through another renewal along with an attitude adjustment.

Can you help me with another thing? God has called me to sanctification & purification. Do you have a something for me to study that can help me start this?
