The Faith of God 2009 Women’s Conference was a great time of fellowship with other women and in the lord. God gets all the glory for the great things that He has done during this time of fellowship. The conference theme was “Perfecting That Which Remains.” On Thursday night, 1st Lady Wanda Atkinson opened the conference with a dynamic and challenging message to forgive, let go, and move on with your life and what God has for you. Friday night, Minister Aaron C. Atkinson spoke on self-esteem and knowing who you are in Christ. On Saturday there were workshops, health care professionals, and more remarkable speakers, such as, Minister Dawn Crooms who elucidated that “It’s not that bad: Focus-get a sharper imagine.” Next, Minister Elsie Denton emphasized the purpose of the meeting was about perfecting the things that remained and with God’s help, we can do all things. Lastly, Evangelist Andrea Holmes brought an anointed word she received from God, “Just use what you got.” 1st Lady Atkinson ended the conference recognizing all the people who made the conference possible through their hard work and dedication. 1st Lady Atkinson gave all the glory to God. She reemphasized the need to reach out to each other in love and help each other perfect those things that remained.
